Images

When you upload wine label photos, these images are stored securely and processed by AI services to extract wine information. Images are associated with your account and are not shared publicly.

Usage Data

We may collect information about how you access and use the application, including your device type, browser type, and general usage patterns to improve our service.

  • To provide and maintain your wine cellar tracking service
  • To analyze wine labels using AI and populate wine details

We use the following third-party services to provide our application:

  • Supabase: For authentication, database storage, and image storage. Data is stored securely in their cloud infrastructure.
  • OpenAI / Anthropic: For AI-powered wine label analysis, tasting notes generation, and sommelier chat features. Wine images and text are sent to these services for processing but are not used to train their models.
  • Vercel: For application hosting and delivery.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. This includes encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
